Mackenzie Simpson is an exceptional stylist who is grateful for the opportunity to establish her career at High Tech Salon and Spa, now known as Pure Art Salon and Spa Studios. She is a proud graduate from Aveda Frederic Institute, a cutting-edge training facility for Hair, Skin, and Nails located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
After completing her training at Aveda and obtaining her license, Mackenzie had the privilege of training under the guidance of five master stylists. Among them was the renowned and accomplished founder and owner, Terry Back, at High Tech Salon. The invaluable experience gained from these experts has shaped Mackenzie into the skilled and versatile stylist she is today.
Step into Mackenzie's personal studio, and you'll be greeted by a professional and relaxing environment. Drawing on her unique training at Aveda Frederic Institute, she takes great pleasure in incorporating stress-relieving hand, arm, scalp, and neck massages as optional additions to her services. In addition, she has expanded her repertoire to include steam facials, providing a comprehensive range of services to pamper her clients.
One of the highlights Mackenzie loves to share is the inspiration behind her business name, "Captured and Crowned Studio and Spa." It stems from Isaiah 62:3, where it is written, "You are a crown of beauty in the palm of God's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God." Mackenzie believes that God's ultimate desire is to capture hearts and crown individuals as His own. Through the heart of Jesus, true beauty is revealed, transcending mere outward appearance. It encompasses "the inner self... the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight" (1 Peter 3:3b).
Mackenzie's goal is for her clients to feel genuinely valued and relaxed, leaving her studio with a renewed sense of beauty and confidence as individuals created by God. She considers herself a lifelong student, continually seeking growth by staying updated with the latest techniques and trends in the industry.
Mackenzie's expertise is further bolstered by her certifications in Hotheads tape-in extensions. She actively pursues continuing education opportunities with renowned brands such as Aveda, Lanza, and Milkshake, ensuring she remains at the forefront of her craft.
