About Janie

Meet Janie, originally from Alaska but now happily settled in Harrisonburg, VA. She has embraced this area and is eager to continue building her career here.

Janie's journey began at Paul Mitchell in Roanoke, VA, where she pursued her education in cosmetology. With her license in hand, she embarked on her professional path at a training salon. For over a year, she had the privilege of being mentored by 3-4 master stylists, an experience that greatly contributed to her growth and skill development. Throughout the past 3 years, Janie has thoroughly enjoyed expanding her abilities and building a loyal clientele. Now, she looks forward to serving even more clients as she establishes her business. The spark that ignited Janie's passion for the hair industry was her involvement in assisting with bridal parties. She discovered her knack for creating stunning wedding and formal hairstyles. Beyond weddings, Janie specializes in blonding and color techniques, always staying up to date with the latest trends in hair color.

Art and music hold a special place in Janie's heart, and she enjoys pursuing these passions on the side. In her free time, she indulges in her artistic inclinations.
