Holly Simpson 

Holly Simpson, our General Manager, has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1991. Even at this stage in her life, she cherishes her connection to the hair industry and enjoys joining her daughter Mackenzie’s business “Captured and Crowned Events”  in Studio 109 at Pure Art Salon on weekends to assist with wedding and formal hair, a specialty of hers.

 

Although Holly grew up in western Pennsylvania, she has spent much of her life between Ohio and Virginia, where she served as a pastor’s wife in several churches throughout the years. She adores her husband Mark and together they have raised 2 beautiful children. Their son Ethan just graduated from Fishburne Military School and  is headed to JMU this fall with an ROTC scholarship where he will pursue a future in the military. Their daughter Mackenzie has been a licensed stylist since 2019 and began her career at HighTech Salon and Spa, now known as Pure Art Salon and Spa. Mackenzie has grown a successful business at Pure Art  “Captured & Crowned” with a speciality in weddings. 

 

Five years ago, Holly moved back to Virginia after spending seven years on the Administration Team at a private school. During this time, she gained valuable experience in organization, vision casting, goal setting, and social media promotion. These skills, along with her many other leadership roles, have well-prepared her for her position as General Manager at Pure Art Salon and Spa.

 

Holly has a love of all things beautiful! She has a gift for creating warm environments and loves to decorate with a knack for Interior Design. Holly is passionate about people and loves encouraging the business partners at Pure Art as well as warmly welcoming and serving all guests. Her mission in life is to make a difference by being a friendly, compassionate servant by striving to reflect the life of Jesus Christ in all she does.
